7 / 10 Not Verified | The flight was okay, I think it was worth the money, the seats were quite comfortable. The toilets were clean, and the prices were quite fair. The only downside was that this was a night flight and the lights were on the whole flight except takeoff and landing. We did have a 3 hour delay but I believe this isn’t TUI’s fault, great airline.

Is it worth upgrading on TUI Dreamliner?

3. Re: Thomson Dreamliner to cancun premium upgrade, is it worth it 4 years ago All depends on the individual(s) travelling and what you want from the flight, I am 6ft2 with long legs, and struggle to get comfortable on economy flights, am normally very lucky and travel BA Business Class more often than not, but a couple of years ago we flew on a package holiday in economy to Sharm (not Thomson).

  1. I could not sit for the flight due to the cramped conditions.
  2. Upgraded to extra space on way back but it was not much better.
  3. Anyway this year we were flying Thomson to Cancun, so I paid for the family and I to upgrade to Premium.
  4. Outbound – due to plane going tech they had to put a replacement plane on the route, this meant that they did not have a Premium cabin, but instead they had extra leg room seats in it’s place.

At first I was really unhappy but once I got on board I found extra leg room in that configuration to be very comfortable indeed. Now I am not sure if we got more legroom as they were in the forward cabin or if that was standard for the extra legroom but they were brilliant.

  1. Coming back we had the proper Premium seats, and these were even better for me.
  2. In both directions I was able to stretch out and was even able to sleep (something I rarely do on a flight ).
  3. Service was very good, a little too generous with the alcohol but I didn’t complain! All in all, for me, I would upgrade every time.

As a minimum to extra leg room, but if I can afford it the extra for Premium is well worth it. I did enjoy the frequent service, the smaller cabin with more privacy and the room I had for my legs.

We were impressed with the dreamliner, very airy comfortable and spacious, would have given 5 stars but disappointed with the quality of the meals and quantity of drinks available. Have booked again but upgraded our seats.

What is the best seat on a TUI Dreamliner?

Best seats in the Premium cabin are definitely Row 1 A/C or G/J where you will have loads of extra legroom and no difficulty getting in and out of your window seat.

How many seats are on a plane?

An aircraft that is designed to transport humans can accommodate from 10 to 850 air passengers (the crew is not included). These numbers are purely statistical, and the real numbers can vary, as three major factors influence them: 1. The construction of the aircraft (Airbus, Boeing, ATR, Bombardier, etc.); 2.

  • The type of the airplane – how narrow or wide its body is; 3.
  • ‎The service that it offers – all-economy/coach or business and first-class.
  • Counting on the three factors above, Airbus and Boeing airplanes stand out from the rest.
  • Taking into consideration the types of planes, Airbus 320s and Boeing 737s, which have narrow bodies, can have on their boards up to 200 passengers.

On the other hand, their cousins like Boeing B767/757s and Airbus A330, that have a wider body, can travel with 200-300 passengers on their boards. Considering the service that is offered by the airline, the seat configuration can be changed, and consequently, the numbers stated above can increase or decrease significantly.

When an airplane offers only first-class or business-class seats, it lowers the number of seats, eventually. And on the contrary, the number of seats gets higher, in case the airline decides to set only economy seats on the aircraft. It is necessary to list the biggest commercial airplanes in history, so you have a better understanding of how many seats can an aircraft accommodate, and we’ll help you with that.

Talking about people on board and not about the number of seats, the greatest number of air passengers is 1,086. The aircraft which held this major number of people was none other than Boeing 747. It took a flight from Ethiopia to Israel as part of Operation Solomon.

In fact, there were 1,088 humans on board when the plane landed, as a result of two women giving birth. Speaking about non-emergency flights, a low-cost airline named Corsair (France) configured their Boeing 747 that resulted in a seat map of 524 chairs. This caused cheap airfares, but truly cramped seating.

The list make Boeing 777-300/200 planes, which have on their boards 550 and 440 seats respectively in a one-class configuration. Airbus A340 Family can fit in up to 475 passengers in a single-class arrangement. And Airbus 350-900 has a capacity of a maximum of 440 seats, according to its seating plan.

  1. Although these numbers can seem high, the winner in this category is the Airbus A380 – an aircraft designed to transport a large number of passengers, a true miracle of construction.
  2. It was manufactured back in the 2000s, and its first flight dates 14 years back.
  3. The aircraft itself is a double-deck wonder, which can accommodate 853 passengers on its board in a single-class configuration.

In the three-class arrangement, the aircraft can fit in up to 550 seats, which surpasses in number other aircraft of the same make, including its cousin Boeing. In February 2019 it was announced, that the company manufacturing Airbus A380 planes will stop its work on this aircraft for some substantial reasons.

Millions of holidaymakers will be gearing up for their first trip abroad in three years following travel restrictions during the height of the pandemic. Whether you are flying with top airlines like Tui, Easyjet, Ryanair or British Airways, you may already be looking at ways to keep the costs down.

Passengers also cannot bring “items which in our reasonable opinion are unsuitable for carriage by reason of their weight, size or character or which are fragile or perishable or which may affect the safety, health or comfort of other passengers or crew, this may include hot or strong smelling foods and drinks”.

TUI Passengers travelling with TUI can bring their own food on board. It advises passengers to bring “low-risk food such as pre-made sandwiches and snacks that can be eaten cold”.

British Airways Passengers can take solid foods like sandwiches, biscuits, fruit, nuts, etc, onto the plane.
